You can certainly travel with this, but it is heavier and bulkier.
The trade-off is sturdiness, and better adjustment of the camera position.
It also includes a tilt/pan handle, giving you greater control of camera movement.

If this one isn't available, look for any of the ProTactic models.
The differences are mainly the interior space - higher the number, the more space there is.

Note that there are two different models: The RS3 and RS3 Pro.
The main difference being the total weight it can carry.
The RS3 holds up to 6.6 lbs, whereas the RS3 Pro handles 10lbs.
Take your heaviest camera and your heavist lens and look up the specs.
Add the two weights together. If you're close to the 6 or at 6, go up to the RS3 Pro, you won't regret it.
